Delete your Anime Wallpaper account

This page is for people who no longer have the app installed, or cannot open it. If the app is still on your phone, doing it there is faster.

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

Settings → Account → Delete account. A confirmation dialog tells you exactly what will be removed, including how many favourites you have saved.

Option 2 — request by email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Delete account", including:

The Google account you signed in with, if you used Google sign-in.
If you never signed in: roughly when you last used the app and which phone you used, so we can locate the record.
A confirmation line: "I request deletion of my Anime Wallpaper account and all associated data."

If you used Google sign-in, the request must come from that same Google account — that is how we verify it, and it is why we do not ask you for any further documentation.

Timeline — you can change your mind for 7 days

Deletion is not immediate. For the first 7 days after you ask, you can cancel from inside the app (Settings → Account) and nothing is lost. After that the data is removed permanently and cannot be restored. We complete every deletion within 30 days of the request, and reply to confirm when it is done.

What is removed, and what is not

Your account record, including the device identifier and — if you signed in with Google — the Google account identifier. Your list of favourite wallpapers.	Wallpapers you already saved to your phone. Those are files on your own device and we cannot reach them; delete them from your gallery if you want them gone. Anonymous totals such as how many times a wallpaper has been downloaded across all users. These belong to the wallpaper, not to you.

We keep a dated record that the request was made and completed. It contains no personal information, and exists so we can show that requests are handled on time.

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data you no longer want us to keep.

Favourites — open the app and tap the heart on a wallpaper again. That removes the entry from our servers straight away, on every device signed in to the same account. Your account stays.
Anything else, or you no longer have the app — email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and say what you would like removed. Tell us the Google account you signed in with so we can find the right record. We answer within 30 days and keep the account itself untouched unless you ask us to delete it too.

Deleting your account is not the same as signing out

Signing out only hides the account on that phone; your favourites stay on our servers and come back when you sign in again. Deleting removes them for good.
